Raša Mine (2013)

The area around the city of Raša is rich in carbon and its extraction was crucial for Mussolini’s war machinery in WWII.
The mine, once a home for more than ten thousands miners that worked there every day, is now a mystical tunnel inhabited by the rotting remains of those days and a strange cacophony of sounds. The water still remembers.
