Built in 1939, the Power Plant Vlaška is located near the City of Raša and before being closed down it was the main source of electrical power for the city and the Istrian region.
I visited the plant on several occasions. Going there with Riko and Marijan was an touching and informative experience. They told me stories of how it used to be. Before coming with me, they haven’t visited the place for more than thirthy years.
